Click Track, Live Stream Audio Studio: Web App Concept and Branding
This web app provides amateur music makers with an application, much like Garageband, but online. It is a recording interface where instrument tracks are recorded and stored. They can be accessed by anyone with permissions to listen and/or add an instrument or vocal track of their own without altering the original. The Click Track interface allows mixing for multi-track recordings, or single tracks.
In addition to its recording studio capabilities, it is a social network, where songs can be posted for the public or friends to hear.

Created in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
This web app provides guitar tablature or sheet music by a user input search for a song, or by listening to a song playing, using the same technology as Shazam. Once Tab + Note identifies the song it plays the song back displaying the either the corresponding tabs or notes. The user plays along while T+N listens and indicates which notes are correct or mistakes.
Caffe Amici was located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a small, dark place I'd pass everyday walking to the subway. It had a great location but there was something about it that made nobody want to go in. I decided this was a good branding project for VisComm2 at Pratt GradComD.
Being a rapidly changing Italian neighborhood the cafe had to appeal to the long-time older Italian-American residents and the younger artistic newcomers.
I chose a mix of mid-century Italian inspired typography, and old world feel, with a nostalgic reference to 60s mod culture, the films of Wes Anderson, Fellini and Godard to produce a destination for friends.
